Friday Evening:
We have planned something different for Friday night. The last bourbon tour at the Heaven Hill distillery is at 4:00pm. The Heaven Hill is located at 1311 Gilky Run Road, Bardstown between 3:30 and 3:45 for that final tour of the day. If you cannot make this event, we will gather at Buffalo Wings and Rings, 1012 Granite Dr. (intersection of US 62 and KY 245) for dinner. The start time for dinner is 7:00pm. Remember this is an "on your own" activity. Translation: You buy your own food and beverages
Saturday
Saturday's events offer you flexibility to choose what you would like to do. There will be several local options available for you.
A visit to Kentucky Railroad Museum with an excursion behind KRM equipment.

We need to get at least 40 members to attend. This includes admission to the Museum and a chance to see ex-Monon BL2 #32, as well as a 3 hour excursion behind an L&N Steam locomotive and box lunch.
Saturday's activities will also include the Corman Dinner Train.

In the coming days, we hope to have the per person cost of the My Old Kentucky Dinner Train posted. IMPORTANT: All reservations must be made 30 days prior to the convention. The Convention Committee negotiated the best package possible. We have reserved the largest dining car, with a capacity of seating 77 people. Seating will be on a first come, first served, basis, which means the first 77 registered will be seated in this car. All others will be seated in adjoining two dining cars.
Here is an article, from Trains Magazine about the Bardstown Branch, on which the diner train operates.
