A look at the happenings related to the Monon Railroad Historical Society

All Society members in good standing are eligible and encouraged, to attend the Board Of Directors meeting. Besides "interesting" and good natured conversation you can see how hard working the Board of Directors really are. Note: Be forewarned, you just may find yourself appointed to a committee by President Van Bree.

2010 Board Meeting Dates

January 16, 2010, Westfield, Indiana. Monon Trail Elementary School

March 20, 2010, Linden, Indiana. World Headquarters

May 22, 2010, Bloomington, Indiana.

The formal dedication of the Monon Memorial At Bloomington. The dedication will be at 10:30 followed by the MRHTS Board Meeting at Pete Pedigo's residence. Know and old rail? Tell them and encourage them to attend this dedication. These people are the reason for the Memorial.

MRHTS Membership.

Monon Society memberships run from January 1 through December 31 of every year. If your membership is up for renewal, please do so.

As of the membership information received on July 17, 2010, the Society has 474 members paid for 2010 and beyond. The breakdown of members paid for 2010 and beyond is:

Pete Pedigo is the new Membership Chairman. Pete is working hard to update the membership list and quickly process new memberships and renewals.
