1: The original Broad Ripple depot still stands, and is now an ice cream shop called BRICS. Looking south towards Indianapolis.

2: Not all of this is original however. At some point the building was extended, and you can see where the original depot ends in the roof line. Looking north towards Chicago.

3: The inside is decorated with many old photos, maps, advertisements, etc. of the Monon. It's a very well put together tribute to the Monon. Looking north towards Chicago.

4: It's a very nice local business that does a good job of honoring the Monon. I would absolutely recommend it. Oh, also the ice cream is good. Looking south towards Indianapolis.

5: This is the northernmost of two info plaques along the Monon Trail in Broad Ripple, located just south of Bridge B174.8 at the Indianapolis Art Center trailhead.

6: This is the other info plaque, located at the south end of Bridge B175.3. It's also much less readable than the other one.

7: An old caboose, more specifically NYC19008, still sits at 6535 Cornell Avenue along the trail, for now. The city repossessed the property in May 2021 and intends to remove it, but has not done so as of April 2022. Looking north towards Chicago.

8: A real shame that it will be gone soon, as this caboose has been here for a long time, having been put in storage on a side track in the 70s, and staying there even as the rails were removed and the trail was paved. Looking south towards Indianapolis.

9: An old signal mounting located on the west side of the trail, a bit south of Bridge B174.8.

10: Speaking of things located on the west side of the trail a bit south of Bridge B174.8, this telegraph pole is in remarkably good condition.
