36: The original location of the passing siding south switch. For some reason, NS moved it to the other side of North 9th Street. Looking north towards Chicago. 37: The current location of the passing siding south switch. The way the track was rearranged resulted in the side track becoming the main track and vice versa. Looking north towards Chicago. 38: The gates to the US Aggregates quarry. The north switch is inaccessible, beyond the gate. Looking north towards Chicago.

39: The switch to what remains of the Delphi Belt Line, a shortline that used to run across the north side of the city, directly connecting the Monon and the Wabash. Looking south towards Indianapolis. 40: Very little remains of Bridge 109.6, AKA the Wabash River bridge. The yellow railing barely visible here protects hikers from the steep drop, and is the only remanent I could find on the west side of the river.
41: Due to a lack of anything else to photograph on the west side of the river, I decided to recreate this photo. Looking true south towards US-421.(Pittsburg-bridge) 42: Taken from the North County Road 900 West underpass. Looking north towards Chicago. 43: The North County Road 900 West underpass. Looking south towards Indianapolis. 44: Taken from the North 9th Street crossing. Looking north towards Chicago. 45: The North 9th Street crossing. Looking south towards Indianapolis.

1: The former depot location. Looking north toward Chicago.

2: Also the former depot location. Various bits of stone are embedded in the ground, presumably a remnant of the foundation. Looking south toward Indianapolis.

3: The LCL freight ramp is actually still in place next to the depot, if a bit mossy.

4: The MON-WAB crossing location. The old line is still in place from here to the banks of the Wabash River as an industrial spur, although it does not look like it has been used for a while. Looking north toward Chicago.

5: Also the MON-WAB crossing location. Weirdly, there wasn't a diamond here, but instead a pair of switches facing opposite directions, one of which is still in place. Looking south toward Indianapolis.

6: A view of Bridge B110.7. Looking north toward Chicago.

7: An opposing view of Bridge B110.7. Looking south toward Indianapolis.

8: A grounded view of Bridge B110.7. Looking true north toward an empty field.

9: An info plaque for those hiking on the High Bridge Trail, just north of State Road 25.

10: You always know you're on the right track when you find a telegraph pole on the south side of the ROW.

11: State Road 25 has been relocated in the time since the line was abandoned, so this bridge over the highway is not original. Looking north toward Chicago.

12: The bridge was initially designed to carry County Road 590 over the White River at Freedom, IN. It was moved here to carry the trail over State Road 25. Looking south toward Indianapolis.

13: End of the line for the trail, at least temporarily. No pictures of the High Bridge this trip.

14: Taken from the North Market Street crossing. Looking north toward Chicago.

30: Still the Old State Road 25 overpass, but from the ground this time. Looking true south toward East Main Street.

31: Taken from the State Road 25 overpass. State Road 25 has been relocated in the time since the line was abandoned, so this bridge over the highway is not original. Looking north toward Chicago.

32: The State Road 25 overpass. The bridge was initially designed to carry County Road 590 over the White River at Freedom, IN, before being moved here to carry the trail over State Road 25. Looking south toward Indianapolis.

33: Bridge B113.0, more commonly known as the Deer Creek Bridge or simply the High Bridge, was the second highest rail bridge in Indiana when it was active. Looking south towards Indianapolis.

34: I only have pictures from the north side of the bridge, as I was not brave enough to risk the 63-foot drop into the ravine. Looking south towards Indianapolis.

35: Looking south towards Indianapolis.
