The first extended vision caboose was purchased from Thrall in 1951, and was numberd 81515.

In 1952 the International Company steel cabooses were purchased.
Notice the variations in paint schemes. There are differences even on the same car in these pictures.
These cars were numbered C-360-C-368 and re-numbered 81501-81509. All have a center cupola.

Rider Cars also known as Head End Cabooses, was the name the Monon applied to
several cars used to haul less than carload freight and crew members on local freights.
Eight cars were constructed by the Lafayette Shops, but other cars were also used.
